Ministry Description
Develop and implement a curriculum that will cultivate the lives of children (newborn thru sixth
grade). Create an environment furnished with activities that will allow the children to become
spiritually motivated and interested in God.
Goals & Objectives
State the desired goals and objectives to address the needs/problems stated above. Also include
key benefits of reaching goals/objectives.
Goal 1- To initiate a Puppet Ministry. This Ministry will be use as a training facility for the children,
where the puppets will be used to illustrate the lessons being taught as well as a guide to acting
(plays, skits etc).
Goal 2- To start a book club, where a book will be chosen for the month. It will be read and
discussed and the children can act it out or create crafts and activities based on the book. The
books will be both secular as well as Christian books.
Goal 3- - For the Children’s Ministry to not just be another ministry but also a Ministry of Helps,
reaching out to the less fortunate in the surrounding communities as well as at school. The
ministry will begin with tutoring sessions once or twice a month
Goal 4- To establish a Toys for Tokens where a chart system will be establish with students
names and stars. At the end of the class the students will receive tokens based on the stars they
receive in class and at the end of the month the students will exchange the tokens for toys.
EDUCATION MINISTRY:
Support in educating the body in the word of God. To reinforce the foundational principles of the
word that will give aid to our faith. To produce skilled teachers in special areas to teach the body
through Christian education classes. Pave the way for series teaching in bible study, teen and
children level classes. Produce current correct information that will better edify the body. Do
random checks to test the level of retention. Create and maintain a new believer’s class and
current enrollment, which will give graduation certificates after the completion of the entire class.
Order material for teachers and students of all classes. Maintain a balanced staff for all areas of
teaching. Acts 6:4
